Call to             The Regular Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Eagle-Vail Metropolitan

Order              District was called to order by Chairperson Nichols on April 5, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. noting a quorum was present.

Mulligans       Ms. Ahmad updated the Board regarding Mulligans Restaurant for 2007-summer season. Ms. Ahmad will have a meeting with the restaurateur and Mr. Marchetti today at 4p.m. and hopes to get a contract signed.

The Directors exchanged ideas regarding the food and beverage operation. The option of closing Mulligans for the season was dismissed as a poor idea when trying to service the golfers.

Mr. Welsh addressed the Board and noted that the professional’s number one priority is Golf, but Mr. Welsh is definitely open to help. Again the Board exchanged thoughts on the operation and decided that if the negotiations with the restaurateur did not work out then as a last resort the existing staff would move into plan B.

It was determined that Mr. Welsh would oversee the staffing and training. Ms. Ahmad would help with liquor and food ordering and any other items that might help to relieve Mr. Welsh of the work load. Ms. Milagres was directed to be responsible for the balancing of each days books and deposits for food and beverage.

Chairman Nichols started a discussion on what the Golf Course used to do in past seasons. Chairman Nichols suggested to serve coffee and muffins at the ProShop, it might not bring any revenues, but the Golf Course will be serving the golfers. Director Finlay agreed with Chairman Nichols.

Mr. Marchetti suggested to rent the restaurant for the winter season. Mr. Marchetti also suggested to have the Clubhouse available for private parties during that same time.
