Pavilion Usage Instructions

 It's important that anyone that uses the EagleVail Pavilion fully understands all of the facility requirements, kitchen use instructions, and how to properly open, close and clean the facility.  Please take some time to review this page in detail.

KITCHEN INSTRUCTIONS

 

RANGETOP

 

TURN ON GAS SUPPLY:
Turn on gas supply by turning the gas lever located on the left side of the stove back near shelving unit.

 

LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Turn all valves to “off” position.
  2. Remove plates to expose pilots.
  3. Light pilots – turn adjusting screw until a ½ inch pilot flame height is obtained.

 


 

OVEN

 

TURN ON GAS SUPPLY:
Turn on gas supply by turning the gas lever located on the left side of the stove back near shelving unit.

 

LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Open kick panel and locate knob on valve assembly.
  2. Turn the knob to pilot and press inward. While holding the knob inward, light the pilot with an appropriate lighter.
  3. Hold knob in the inward position for 30 seconds and release. The pilot should stay lit.
  4. Turn the knob to “on” and close kick panel.
  5. Select on the thermostat the cooking temperature appropriate for the food to be cooked.

CAUTION: Observe a 5 minute shutoff period before re-lighting pilot


 

WARMING OVEN

This appliance is a warming oven only. It is not intended to cook food.

 

TURN ON WARMING OVEN:

  1. Turn temperature dial at the bottom of the oven to desired temperature.
  2. Set timer to desired length of time for warming. (Lights will come on next to the dials.)
  3. Warming oven needs ONE HOUR to heat up!

PLEASE BE SURE TO TURN OFF WHEN FINISHED!

OPENING & CLOSING PROCEDURES

 

 

OPENING PROCEDURES:

  • Enter through kitchen door on East side of building using the keypad.
  • Keypad code has five numbers plus # sign. Call for entry code 1 week prior to your event.
  • Unlock front entry vestibule door from inside.
  • Unlock any additional doors needed.
  • Double doors: Release flush bolts on the inside of the door, top and bottom.
  • All doors can be propped open with door stop.
  • Light & fan switches for main room are in Fire Room.
  • Light switches for track lights are on South wall in West corner.
  • Loading and Unloading: Please use the double doors on the East (pond) side.

 


SHADE OPERATION:

  • Children under 12 are not allowed to operate shades.
  • Damage to shades will result in loss of security deposit.
  • Shades can be operated with black chain on each shade.
  • Adjacent doors must be closed and locked before lowering shades.
  • Never lower shades while the adjacent doors are open.

 


CLOSING PROCEDURES:

  • Remove all rental items and decorations.
  • Raise all window shades back to their original position.
  • Leave all tables and chairs out for cleaning.
  • Lock all exterior doors from inside.
  • Double doors: Lock flush bolts on the inside of the door, top and bottom.
  • Push both bathroom doors and interior vestibule door to open position.
  • Turn off all lights and fans.
  • Turn off all water.
  • Exit through the kitchen. Make sure the door locks behind you.

REQUIRED FACILITY CLEANING

 

Renter is responsible for ALL setup and tear down of the event with the exception of tables and chairs which should be left out after the event. EVMD will break down tables and chairs for Lessee.

 

CLEANING CHECKLIST

  • Clean up all trash inside and outside the Pavilion. Place trash in rolling trash containers provided.
  • Remove all decorations.
  • Trash bags are provided in the kitchen.
  • Empty all trash cans and place full trash bags in the dumpster in the parking lot.
  • Clean up any excess mess such as spills.
  • A cleaning service will sweep, mop and wipe down the kitchen. However, any additional cleaning needed as a result of your event will be taken out of your security deposit. The appliances must be left in the same condition as you found them. All spills must be wiped up immediately.
  • Please report any damage to EagleVail Administration, 970-790-1218.


Failure to do one or all of these things will result in a partial or full loss of your deposit.
