Group Rates

Note: In order to receive the group rate, you must email the Pool Manager Joey Roberts at joeyroberts@eaglevail.org in advance; otherwise, each member of your party will be charged the standard daily entry fee.

SWIM TEAM CAMP

Diving Dolphins Swim Team:

The swim team camp for 2024 will start June 10 and end August 1. First swim meet in Avon on June 28, 2024 and last swim meet in EagleVail on July 26, 2024. There will be no swim meets in Eagle this year. The swim team banquet will be held on July 29, 2024 at the EagleVail Pavilion.

The 2024 Morning Swim Team Camp registration form will be available (with online purchase) starting May 1, 2024.

The 2024 Twilight Swim Team Camp registration form will be available (with online purchase) starting May 1, 2024.

Morning sessions are limited to 80 participants.

Twilight sessions are limited to 40 participants.

Purpose:

The diving dolphins swim team camp is a recreational league that focuses on swim technique and fitness. Kids will learn fundamentals and refinement of all 4 strokes, racing technique, racing strategy, and good sportsmanship. Swimming is a complex skill that takes focus and dedication. As a part of the community our swim team is dedicated to being a fun and safe environment for kids to learn, grow, and feel empowered with a skill they can keep forever.

Prerequisites:

ALL children in swim team must pass a swim test to be eligible to participate in swim team at any level.

Swim Team Less Experienced Swimmers - Must be 7 years or older to participate. The swimmer must be able to tread water for 2 minutes and swim 50 meters/yards freestyle unaided. Swimmers in this category are eligible to participate in swim meets, if the coach deems the swimmer ready.

Swim Team More Experienced Swimmers - Must be 7 years or older to participate. The swimmer must be able to swim 100 meters/yards freestyle without stopping and must have a basic knowledge of all four strokes. The swimmers in this category are eligible to participate in swim meets.

Swim Meets:

Swim meets are optional, and entries will be assigned the Monday before the meet at the coach’s discretion. Swimmers 7-9 years old swim 25 yards/meters in each event and children 10+ years old swim 50 yards/meters in each event. Relays are encouraged and will be assigned the Monday before. Please make sure to let the head coach know if you are unable to attend the meet the week before each meet. If you are unable to confirm your child’s participation in the meet your child will not be entered.

Gear:

EagleVail provides a swim cap, kickboard and flippers. Child must bring their own goggles.

There are four age/skill categories:

Starfish - Introduction to basic water skills (ages:0-2);

Seahorses - Some basic water skills with aid of parent or alone (not able to submerge, float or propel themselves) (ages aprox:2-3)

*PARENTAL PARTICIPATION IN THE WATER REQUIRED FOR STARFISH & SEAHORSES*

Nemos - Basic water skills (propel themselves three yards in water, able to fully submerge in water, float on back and blow bubbles) (ages aprox: 4-5)

Flying Fish - Refining swimming skills in preparation for Swim Team (can swim ten yards on front or back, tread water, blow bubbles) (ages aprox: 6 & up)

Note: In order to rent the shelter, you must email joeyroberts@eaglevail.org to book your day and time. Must be paid in full at least 48 hours in advance.

	$150.00 for 2 hours/includes 20 people - $12.00 each additional person

CAMPS

Community Camps: $12/child with a minimum of 10 children, counselors are free. Must email Pool Manager Joey Roberts at joeyroberts@eaglevail.org prior to event.

Junior Lifeguard Camp: $180/child - 2 days - includes t-shirt & Red Cross CPR certification - Aug 5 & 6.
