EagleVail Diversion Structure Replacement

Request for Proposals

The EagleVail Metropolitan District is currently seeking bids to construct a new concrete diversion structure in the Eagle River. The scope of work will generally include:

  • The overall intent of the project is to construct a new concrete diversion structure to replace an existing diversion structure that has failed. This new structure will be upgradient of the existing diversion structure within the existing diversion channel. The new diversion structure will be constructed out of reinforced concrete with an operable diversion headgate and return flow headgate.
  • The project will include reinforced concrete pipe to connect the new diversion structure to the existing diversion pipeline. A flow measuring device will be installed in the pipe to monitor water diversions. Minor grading of the diversion channel will take place to increase capacity.
  • Water diversions to the EagleVail Metro District will be required to continue during construction.
