The diving dolphins swim team camp is a recreational league that focuses on swim technique and fitness. Kids will learn fundamentals and refinement of all 4 strokes, racing technique, racing strategy, and good sportsmanship. Swimming is a complex skill that takes focus and dedication. As a part of the community our swim team is dedicated to being a fun and safe environment for kids to learn, grow, and feel empowered with a skill they can keep forever.
Core Values: Safety, Connections, Fitness, Fun, and Learning.
Swim Team Less Experienced Swimmers - Must be 6 years or older to participate. The child must be able to tread water for 1 min and swim 25 meters/yards freestyle unaided. The kids in this category are eligible to participate in swim meets, if the coach deems the child ready.
Swim Team More Experienced Swimmers - Must be 6 years or older to participate. The child must be able to swim 50 meters/yards freestyle without stopping and must have a basic knowledge of all four strokes. The kids in this category are eligible to participate in swim meets.
Swim meets are optional, and entries will be assigned the Monday before the meet at the coach’s discretion. Children 6-9 years old swim 25 yards/meters in each event and children 10+ years old swim 50 yards/meters in each event. Relays are encouraged and will be assigned the Monday before. Please make sure to let the head coach know if you are unable to attend the meet the week before each meet. If you are unable to confirm your child’s participation in the meet your child will not be entered.

She spent four years as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Since entering college, she has expanded her instructing to include work in the backcountry, as a professional backpacking instructor and Wilderness First Responder.
