2018-19 EagleVail Skier Shuttle Bus Program

The EagleVail Metro District is pleased to announce that the EagleVail Skier Shuttle Bus Program for residents and homeowners is back again for another great season.  New this year, the free skier shuttle bus, exclusively for EagleVail residents and homeowners, will provide service to both Vail and Beaver Creek.  The drop off in Vail will be Golden Peak and the drop off in Beaver Creek is at the transportation area next to the Chapel.  The shuttle program is scheduled to operate 56 days during the 2018/19 ski season starting December 14th.  Please stay tuned for more detailed information in future e-blasts and communications. Volunteers Needed for the Everkrisp Trail

Work on the new Everkrisp trail is moving right along. Crews from the national forest service and community volunteers have been removing vegetation and clearing the corridor for construction. The newly purchased mini-excavator has been proven to be of great value to the project. The Vail Valley Mountain Bike Association will be working on the trail every Wednesday night @ 5:00 starting on July 11th. They will meet at the cul-de-sac at the top of Whiskey Hill. How can I get involved?

- Wednesday night work sessions starting at 5pm.  Sign up at http://www.voc.org/project/eagle-vail-trail-construction-minturn-mike-obrien-memorial-project.  Meet at the EagleVail trailhead off of Eagle DriveParking is very limited so please car pool if possible.Bring work/hiking boots, gloves, hat, sunscreen, water and we suggest long pants.  We provide all of the tools and more than likely hist a small cookout afterwards!

Our Trail Crew nights are very rewarding and family friendly.  No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome!  Our Trail Crew leaders will happily teach you the basics.  Hope to see you all out there!
